Gail Tolentino

Growing up skinny is hard.  Especially when you’re a 125 pound male.  When you’re that small, forget about picking up girls when you can’t even pick up the barbell.

“I put constant effort in everything I do, why don’t I do the same to maintain my body?”   That’s the enlightening question that put things into perspective.  A shift in his attitude in late 2009 is when Gail found strength and conditioning to be beneficial not only to his health and well being.  Training with the aid of books/guides/videos, Gail spent the better part of 2010 & 2011 drilling in the mechanics of what would develop his obsession with becoming stronger/faster. Gail is certified as a Level 1 CrossFit trainer. What started out as a way to put on a few pounds on his frame has now become an fixation about pushing to what his body can accomplish.  Merging his passion for coaching and teaching with his love of Strength & Conditioning, Gail was naturally encouraged to become part of the Sublime team in 2013.

“A mediocre teacher tells. A good teacher explains. A superior teacher demonstrates. A great teacher inspires.  I want to be the latter type of coach.”
